Lucas M. Watson
Trial Attorney

Personal injury and criminal defense representation across Connecticut — from initial consultation through trial.

Focused practice. Undivided attention.

Lucas M. Watson is a Connecticut trial attorney representing individuals in serious personal injury and criminal defense matters. He has appeared at every level of the Connecticut state court system and in federal court, handling cases from initial investigation through verdict.

The firm's practice is intentionally limited to two areas — plaintiff-side personal injury and criminal defense. Not because it is convenient, but because representing individuals against institutions requires a distinct set of priorities that cannot coexist with the other side of the docket.

Before launching his own practice, Mr. Watson developed his litigation skills through direct courtroom experience — lead counsel and co-counsel on trials involving motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, workplace injuries, and a range of criminal charges from misdemeanors to serious felonies. That foundation means he enters every case knowing what a jury will hear, what a judge will consider, and what the opposing side is most likely to do.

Every matter is handled personally. There are no teams of associates passing your file to someone who has never spoken with you. You will work directly with Mr. Watson from the first call through resolution — whether that means a negotiated settlement, a dismissed charge, or a verdict in your favor.

How He Approaches Your Case

Investigation before strategy

Every case starts with a thorough factual investigation. Evidence gathered early is evidence preserved. Strategy follows facts, not the other way around.

Prepare for trial, settle from strength

Cases that are fully prepared for trial settle better and sooner. Insurance companies and prosecutors know when an attorney is ready to go — and when they are not.

Direct communication

You will have Mr. Watson's direct line. Questions are answered promptly. You are never left wondering what is happening with your case.

Limited caseload by design

The firm intentionally limits the number of active matters so each client receives the preparation and attention a serious case demands.
